Very pleased after 2 months - I thought I d wait for a while before I posted a review of this but in daily use for several hours a day over 2 months I have been extremely pleased with this laptop for home use.First of all it looks and feels good. It is sleek and lightweight yet also solid and just good quality.It picked up my wireless connection and was online literally out of the box and since then has never dropped the connection once. I m probably not the heaviest user of all it s capabilities but when I ve been running multiple programs together it has always been perfect. I have not played games on it.I also find the keyboard great, just solid and easy to use.Overall I just find using it a pleasure and I m very pleased with this purchase. I bought it with this item which I m also very pleased with Logitech V220 Wireless Optical Laptop Mouse

Great Office laptop but Not for Gaming - Just got this little beauty a week ago so had some time to appreciate its pros and cons now. Overall, very pleased as its stylish, light enough, bright screen and quality build, with new vista and easy to use. However, a few niggles bother me such as inability to play any game more than a few years old(bought far cry2-doh!, tried no one lives forever which is a few years old and both on lowest setting wouldnt work, however, black and white which is older did, oh well-apparently you need a good nvidia dedicated card included and you cant upgrade your laptop like a pc later so take note of this point if you want to play games).The only other major niggle was that the battery dies in about an hour or two even on power saving setting.-so if your looking for long battery life one of the new netbooks might be more useful as their batteries last close to 5. However, for running other applications which dont require rendering or graphics, this suffices and looks good to boot. Its up to you what you need it for, so office bods, welcome & gaming bods beware.
Top quality Sony laptop at an affordable price - Happy days! At about £400 for the 160gb version, this Sony VGN-NR38E provided me with a laptop as good as the one I bought five years ago for nearly £1900. What was a luxury then is now standard. This little beauty has everything you could need in a computer and it s so clever. Connecting to a wireless router took about three minutes, it recognizes every device plugged into it and has plenty of hard-drive storage for photos and files. I am always surprised that some people choose to have a massive desk-bound PC when they could have a laptop like this. It also looks great and is a pleasure to use.
Pleased - I have recently purchased this Sony laptop for university work. It arrived on time and was wrapped up properly with all the relevant material in the box. Its a gorgeous laptop with a fantastic textured lid. The keyboard is lovellyyy size so i am able to write quickly in lectures without pressing the wrong keys. Really sleek and stylish design and Sony is a company that has a very trusted name. The laptop arrives ready to use (after a bit of charging) and has a pre-loaded program of Microsoft Vista again, a very trusted and reliable program. The only problem i faced with Vista was that i was not sent the product key which means i can only use the Microsoft program 20 odd times. ( can i request the product code be sent to my email address). Apart from that i have not a single complaint. Im so pleased that in fact my brother is thinking of ordering his laptop from you also!
